Commonwealth Lock Company was established in 1936 and is a family owned and operated business.  We are a national wholesale distributor of door hardware, locksmith supplies, and related items.

 

Over the years we have continued to expand the number of

major lock manufacturers we are a distributor for.  We carry products from a vast number of manufacturers, so you are able to purchase everything you need from one source.  If we do not have an item in stock – we will special order it for you.

 

We are located in the Metropolitan Boston Area (Cambridge).  Our store front is conveniently located at 1853 Massachusetts Avenue (Route 2A).  Easily accessible from the MBTA Red Line, Porter Square “T” stop.

 

Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to

5:30 pm (eastern standard time.  We accept cash, checks, and the following credit cards - Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.

 

We ship nationwide, via FedEx or UPS.  All in stock items are shipped the same day the order is received.  No minimum

order requirement.
